Are you ready to take a break from paper season and escape the deadlines for an hour or more? If so, the board game library is for you. It holds many classic games, as well as new ones to discover and try out, such as Settlers of Catan, Code Names, Dixit, Pandemic, Ticket to Ride, and many more. Upon hearing about this new board game library, a few thrilled students shared their knee-slapping puns to further encapsulate their eagerness.

“You could almost say it has a monopoly on fun,” said Will Winklehorst, first-year student and board game enthusiast. He continued to add, “Some say the game of life is a pursuit of happiness, but I say it’s a trivial pursuit.” Will continued, “Comparing board games to skydiving is like comparing apples to apples, you might even say.” Another first-year student shared her encouragement to check out the games, saying, “Settlers yourself in for a wild ride.”

Puns aside, fourth-year student, Jessica Schenkel said, “Back in September, my dorm bonded through board games.” The board game library is a great opportunity to make memories and strengthen friendships.
